Cisco Bug: CSCzr01348 - Failure to achieve ASI output PLL bitrate control for decombined stream
Feb 21, 2012
- Digital Receivers/Decoders
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: After a DCM-DTF was replaced at the uplink center, some downstream MTRs were unable to maintain a stable output bitrate on ASI outputs that were decombining transports from the affect DCM-DTF. The MTR reports frequent FIFO Adjusted faults. Conditions: Occurs upon replacement of a DCM chassis and main board with a different chassis and main board and the replacement DCM's 27MHz clock sufficiently different from the 27MHz clock of the original DCM. The MTR application does not allow sufficient capture range to compensate for expected differences in the 27MHz clock frequency of the DCM.
