Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Some MTRs had the ASI output muted by link error faults. The most recent prior fault was Carrier ID fault but when the Carrier ID fault recovered, the ASI outputs did not. The same issues was noted on different MTRs and with different Carrier IDs.

Conditions:
A system was working with 2 carriers, e.g. 101 and 102
ASI outputs 2,3 4 were decombining transports from Carrier 102, inband mode was Uplink
The RF input were under MTR control, i.e. inband mode was set to Ignore
At the uplink, operator inadvertently changed the PAT for RF Carrier 102 from TS ID 102 to TS ID 100
The MTR showed Carrier mismatch fault, ASI outputs were okay
After a short delay, perhaps 30 seconds to several minutes, operator corrected corrected the PAT to right value, 102
At the MTR, ASI outputs 2,3 and 4 were muted and showed Link Error as reason
