Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Digital Receivers/Decoders

Known Affected Releases

R1.17.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
It was reported by the MTR that the input RF signal was lost for some seconds, but the MTR did not recover signal. All ASI outputs were muted due to signal lost. The MTR indicated an RF signal level of greater than 5 dBm.

Changing the LO frequency and then restoring it to the correct value allowed the MTR to recover the RF signal and ASI outputs.

Conditions:
The affected MTR had experience a brief power loss or severe brownout that caused the LNB power supply to briefly drop below minimum operating voltage. The power loss or brownout did not last long enough to trigger the MTR to reset. The drop in LNB power supply voltage caused the LNB to malfunction.

The brownout or power failure might not be reported by the MTR, depending on the duration of the event.
