Last Modified

Oct 09, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

8.4(3)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Nexus 7000 running 8.4(3) acting as a VPNV4 Route-Reflector is seeing an issue where a VPNv4 update is not sent to the Route-Reflector Clients unless the BGP adjacency is cleared. The Nexus 7000 is a Route-Reflector member of a Cluster. The VPNv4 adjacency has 'additional-paths send / receive" configured under Address-Family VPNv4.

Conditions:
Nexus 7000 running 8.4(3) acting as a VPNV4 Route-Reflector is also a member of a Route-Reflector Cluster. The VPNv4 adjacency has 'additional-paths send / receive" configured under Address-Family VPNv4. The prefix is received but not advertised to any peer.
