Cisco Bug: CSCvv99743 - High failure API rate when device is not directly connected to the API query receiver

Last Modified

Oct 13, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco SD-WAN

Known Affected Releases

20.1.2

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Real time API queries are failing for some devices (around 60% of the time)

The same query can be done again, and it may work, there are no control connection flaps, nor other errors reported at the server around the time of the problem

Currently suspecting this is caused by load in the cluster, and the timeout (1 min) is not enough for the operation to complete

Conditions:
Cluster scenario

Device being queried is at server X
Query is sent to different server Y
