Symptom: Migration guide does not mention that native authentication has to be set to local https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-manager/GUI-User-Guides/Fabric-Interconnect-Migration/4-0/b_Migrating_from_6200_to_6400/b_Migrating_from_6200_to_6400_chapter_010.html when the authentication was changed to local the migration worked fine. Conditions: migrating from 62xx to 64xx and not doing local authentication as native. This output might be seeing after waiting for +1 hour of the FI to join the cluster Enter the configuration method. (console/gui) ? console Installer has detected the presence of a peer Fabric interconnect. This Fabric interconnect will be added to the cluster. Continue (y/n) ? y Enter the admin password of the peer Fabric interconnect: Connecting to peer Fabric interconnect... done Retrieving config from peer Fabric interconnect... Client-connect() error: Connection refused unable to retrieve!
