Cisco Bug: CSCvv93981 - Many queries to "Systems?_dc=" by APIC Browser causes APIC UI Slowness
Oct 13, 2020
- Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: After logging into the APIC UI on a version 4.2(4)+, and you open multiple tabs, you notice after several minutes, the browser starts becoming slower, and the Client CPU/Memory spikes high. This causes the APIC UI to slowdown. Conditions: If you open up the Developer Tools in the UI, and check the network API calls, you will see many calls being made to "Systems?_dc=" where the status is failed. These calls will begin incrementing more and more causing CPU and Memory to run high on the client. This issue only happens when multiple tabs are open and "Single-Browse Session (SBS)" is not enabled under the users settings for the APIC UI.
