Description (partial)

Symptom:
There are situations where customer began with Windows NT domain and migrated to Windows 2000+ Active Directory domain and they have adopted a new name in Active Directory.

In CUIC, the set up documentation should show how to integrate with Windows NT Netbios name.

In the OAMP of CUIC, Active Directory settings must use samaccountname for the field ‘Attribute for User ID’, and add NETBIOS to set it as default samaccountname.”

Conditions:
all CUIC when Active Directory domain name is not the same as NETBIOS domain name.

example:
Windows NT NETBIOS name is WINNTDOM
Active Directory name: EXAMPLE.COM
