Cisco Bug: CSCvv88708 - ISIS not updating FRR path to LSD when swapping primary and backup paths with LFA protection
Oct 09, 2020
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: LSD entry is missing FRR information while triggering primary path failure for LFA case where primary and backup paths gets swapped after the failure. This has consequences for SR policies as it could sometimes lead to a flap when doing link failure where FHOP label doesn't have backup. Conditions: Issue is seen with LFA protection where primary and backup paths gets swapped after triggering a failure on the primary path. Primary path failure should be more than 1 hop away and there is a full mesh connected topology. After triggering failure, ISIS FRR DB shows backup entry but LSD shows only the primary path.
