Description (partial)

Symptom:
Any changes or new configurations that require connecting to the EDOS service will no longer work. 

This impacts all brand-new SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones and any other SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones  that are not already connected to the service provider’s provisioning server.

• All SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones currently in service and working will continue operating without interruption, those end users will not experience any difference in their service.

• For all the SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones currently in service, any changes that can be performed directly from the telephony service will continue working.

• If the SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones are factory reset, they do retain their previously acquired information from EDOS, and continue working, but, starting October 4th, 2020 they will no longer be able to receive new information from EDOS.

Conditions:
All brand-new SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones and any other SPA512-RC / SPA514-RC phones that are not already connected to the service provider’s provisioning server.
