Cisco Bug: CSCvv86196 - NDB allow for editing of default role permissions
Sep 28, 2020
- Cisco Nexus Data Broker
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: We are working with a customer who would like the ability to edit permissions for the default App User role in NDB. Having this functionality would allow for the default NDB roles to mesh better with these same roles that are defined in their existing remote authentication setup. Conditions: Specifically the ask is for us to be able to edit the permissions of the App User role. The need for this in their environment that App Admin (Super User) typically handles all things app related and does not do device level configurations. Where App User (Read-Write) typically handles all things configuration related to their expertise. Having the inability to configure ports, we feel has cut them off at the legs when they could be doing this very simple task as required.
