Last Modified

Sep 24, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

15.2(2.0.6)XE0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Today, unlike IPv4 AF, the IPv6 AF BGP route map policy lists do not support the configuration of IPv6 match clauses in policy lists.

Reference: Filtering Traffic Using a BGP Route Map Policy List:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/xe-3s/irg-xe-3s-book/irg-external-sp.html#GUID-5FF328EE-3140-48C9-824F-A217319AAE0B

Conditions:
- IPv6 AF;
- match two prefix lists (logic AND) in one single route-map for routes redistribution into BGP;

Same feature supported in the IPv4 AF today like below:

ip policy-list OSPF permit
 match ip address prefix-list list1
!
route-map OSPF-2-BGP permit 10
 match ip address prefix-list list2
 match policy-list OSPF
!
