Cisco Bug: CSCvv80894 - Jabber 12.8 and above parameter DisableAudioDucking needs to be changed.
Sep 30, 2020
- Cisco Jabber for Windows
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Jabber 12.8 and above parameter DisableAudioDucking is enabled by default, but should be disabled. Conditions: As referring to TAC case 688619656 where BU is involved, audio ducking is disabled from 12.8 and above, due to Windows OS issues. As following the documents for the "Parameter Reference Guide" from 12.8 and 12.9 it is written that the audio ducking is set to false(default), which means the feature is enabled. The change is not documented neither in the Jabber 12.8 release notes, nor in the "Parameter Reference Guide" 12.8 and above. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/12_8/jabw_b_release-notes-128.html https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/12_8/cjab_b_parameter-reference-guide-jabber-128/cjab_b_parameter-reference-guide-jabber-128_preface_00.html
