Cisco Bug: CSCvv76426 - ISQ Release and Add to Safelist option doesn't work for LDAP External Authentication administrators
Sep 28, 2020
- Cisco Content Security Management Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When an LDAP user is a member of a group defined as the device administrator under External Authentication, she cannot use the "Release and Add to Safelist" option under Spam Quarantine to add the sender to safelist while the message is being released. The user receives a confirmation that "The email@example.com sender has been added to your Safelist", however, the sender address is not in being added actually. The same option works fine for normal non-administrator users. Conditions: - Spam Quarantine is enabled. - End-User Quarantine Access is set to LDAP (using None the issue does not occur). - Spam Notifications are enabled. - End-User Safelist/Blocklist is enabled. - External Authentication is enabled using LDAP and a particular LDAP group is mapped to an SMA role. - User is the member of the LDAP group which is mapped to the SMA role.
