Description (partial)

Higher memory use than expected overall on the FTD platform at certain times, but the memory is not being used by any processes that would be expected to use memory.

Many areas of the product may create files in /var/tmp, which on the FTD is backed by memory. Just creating files in this directory will take up physical memory directly. Things like backups use this space temporarily, which could lead to higher memory pressure on the device.
