Description (partial)

Symptom:
Problem 1:
When a User 1 sends or receives a message to another User 2, the chat window does not display any messages. User 2 receives the message.  User 1 shows a blank chat wiindow

Problem 2:
When user 1 is navigating through various chat-conversation windows to switch between conversations.  If at any time, user 1 switches to converstaion with User 2, the conversation window remains at the last-clicked-converstaion-window before selecting User 2.
Example)
User 1 successfully chats with User 3
User 1 switches to conversation with User 2
user 1 still sees chat message window for User 3

Conditions:
User 1 has JID without any special characters
User 2 has JID with single-quote/apostrophe
