Description (partial)

Symptom:
Input "hardware profile portmode 48x10g+breakout6x40g" and N3k reload by this configuration change:

2020 Aug 31 20:52:01  %PLTFM_CONFIG-4-PLATFORM_CONFIG_RELOAD_TRACK: There are features configured that require reload. Please check "show system config reload-pending"  for details

After a while  "ipqosmgr" crash and DDB error was seen from syslog:

2020 Aug 31 21:06:46  %SYSMGR-3-HEARTBEAT_FAILURE: Service "ipqosmgr" sent SIGABRT for not setting heartbeat for last 4 periods. Last heartbeat 832.55 secs ago.
2020 Aug 31 21:06:46  %SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "ipqosmgr" (PID 28294) hasn't caught signal 6 (core will be saved).
2020 Aug 31 21:06:47  %IPQOSMGR-4-QOSMGR_PPF_WARNING: PPF library warning: DDB Error: 0x41170040 (ddb_srv_db_usr_recover_end/971) .
