Cisco Bug: CSCvv62851 - Pushing Catalog Images from Central 2.0(1l) will stay in latest triggered.

Last Modified

Oct 13, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco UCS Central Software

Known Affected Releases

2.0(1h)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
UCS Central 2.0(1l) is the only version that be used with 4.1(2a).

WIthin 2.0(1l), the ability to push catalog images never leaves the Infrastructure firmware management.

Stays in Latest Triggered

This happens on all 6200, and on 6332.

Setup the minimum to push infrastructure hardware and catalog.

Register domain -> create domain group -> assign domain group to maintenance group tag.

From here, I push from infrastructure firmware management.

Maintance group -> "maintenance group tag" -> "catalog version" -> "UCSM VER" ->

Force deploy: disabled
evac: disabled
trigger firmware update: immediately
user ack needed: disabled

Image is pushed, and is successfully applied, just never leaves UCS central from "latest triggered"

Conditions:
I tested UCSM 4.1(1a), 4.1(1c) and 4.1(2a). No one ever leaves latest triggered on Central 2.0(1l)
