Oct 16, 2020
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Calendaring events (meetings start/end) causing large amount of temporary presence XMPP stanzas to be sent to XCP Message Archiver service. This causes PAUSE socket operations command to be sent to XCP Connection Manager (CM) service which triggers high CPU and possibly crash of CM service and outage for all Jabber clients that are currently logged-in. Conditions: Message Archiver used along with Calendaring integration and having a large amount of temporary presence subscriptions. Running IM&P version 12.x or later.
