Symptom:
The permissions on /root directory are widely opened (755):
[root@localhost ~]# ll -d /root/
drwxr-xr-x. 5 root root 4096 Aug  7 22:10 /root/
[root@localhost ~]# ll  /root/
total 12
drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 4096 Mar  6 03:48 cdrom
drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 4096 Aug  7 21:54 cloupia
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root  277 Oct  7  2015 sshd.afterupgrade

Conditions:
UCSD 6.7.4.x or 6.7.3.x
Centos log as root user.
Default permissions on /root/ directory
