Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

16.6.8

Description (partial)

Symptom:
T1 CAS lines emulating FXS ports remain disconnected once the call ended and the FXSGS_WAIT_ONHOOK, E_DSP_SIG_0000 even when the hook-switch remains in OFF HOOK position (handset is not replaced in the device). The line goes dead and hook-switch needs to be set ON HOOK on the device for the port to provide dial tone again.

This request Enhancement request is to allow the port to provide new dial tone after a timer without having to manually change from Off Hook to On Hook in the device.

Conditions:
The device connected to the voice port configured in a 4K router using a T1 CAS voice port configuration is taken Off Hook, a call is established (doesn't matter if it is inbound or outbound), call connects, remote end hangs up.

Device remains Off Hook but no dial tone is received.
