Cisco Bug: CSCvv48260 - Gracefull Insertion and removal not working as expected in default maintenance mode profile in N9336
Sep 25, 2020
- Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The Symptoms/Root cause : When the system is configured for maintenance/isolation, OSPF should advertise the metric value to the maximum supported number, 65535, so that the peer device will redirect the traffic to the other gateway, resulting in a little traffic loss. For stub network/loopback ip configured on the gateway, the aforesaid behavior is not observed and resulted in traffic loss. Conditions: When loopback interface is configured with an ip address (which is VIP in our current scenario) on the device, termed as stub network, and being advertised to the peer device, and the device is destined for isolation/maintenance.
