- Cisco Unified Computing System

Symptom: Opening this enhancement bug to accommodate a request that could possibly let us evaluate Hardware Compatibility List (abbreviated as HCL) compliance from Intersight for Windows installed servers that are not part of any AD domain. Current option available is to run OS discovery tool to push OS and driver information to Intersight to evaluate firmware and driver compatibility. One of the pre-requisite for the tool to work is that the Windows server has to be part of an Active Directory domain. Conditions: Windows server that are not part of any AD domain. Or when customer do not have access to AD domain of servers since they are provided to end customer as a service offering (that is when AD domain is directly managed by end customer).
