Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Configuring a large number of non contiguous vlans or vlan ranges may result in a problem with the display of the vlan ranges in the show running-configuration or show running-configuration vlan. The show running-configuration vlan will only show a subset of the overall created vlans.

If you remove this subset of vlans from the configuration the next batch is displayed in a subsequent show running-configuration or show running-configuration vlan.

If you depend on the output of show running-configuration i.e. to store a backup configuration you must check with other commands to make sure that the number of vlans displayed in the configuration is actually the same as the number that really exists.

Conditions:
Large set of vlan ranges or non contiguous vlans configured on a N7K switch. Only a subset of the vlans will be shown in the show running-configuration / show running-configuration vlan
