Description (partial)

Some upstream traffic from WCM itself (wireless mobility traffic) is not captured in a SPAN taken from an uplink port in the 3650/3850 itself (the one sourcing the wireless mobility traffic).

SPAN captures show wireless mobility traffic coming in from another controller, but not the one going out (sourced) from the controller itself where the SPAN is taken.

- 3650/3850 switch acting as Wireless Controller (NGWC).
- This behavior is observed only for some Wireless mobility traffic (specifically confirmed with Wireless Mobility traffic for UDP ports 16666 and 16667) in which the 3650/3850 is acting as the wireless controller source of such mobility traffic and also doing the SPAN session on its uplink.
- Other traffic, like wired from the same VLAN or sourced from the same wireless management VLAN in these 3650/3850 is not affected, captured by the SPAN as expected.
