Cisco Bug: CSCvv36632 - l2vpn_mgr randomly drops interface update from MA

Last Modified

Aug 18, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.4.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The basic symptom of this defect is that an attachment circuit (AC) may be in Unresolved state in l2vpn. This can be seen by checking one of the following show commands: "show l2vpn xconnect", "show l2vpn bridge-domain", or "show l2vpn flexible-xconnect-service". This can lead to further problems, such as pseudowire being down, complete traffic loss, blackholing, etc.

Conditions:
This defect can potentially occur with any l2vpn configuration. This is a day-1 issue, so all IOS-XR versions which do not have this fix may potentially hit this defect.
