Cisco Bug: CSCvv32610 - Fixing integer parameter issues in the API calls

Last Modified

Oct 09, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.3.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Northbound API for creating stateful path registrations (external LSP) is not correctly validation input integer parameters, so even unacceptable values are interpreted as default values and are not rejected.

Conditions:
- PCE enabled (any configuration in 'pce' submode)
- NB API explicitly enabled (requirement applicable only starting from 7.2.1, as API is enabled by default in older releases)
- external LSP API usage (specific HTTP request has to be sent)
- invalid value passed for any integer parameter in payload of that HTTP request
