Last Modified

Sep 24, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Known Affected Releases

3.7(0.0)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Prime Infrastructure's /var/spool/clientmqueue file may grow unchecked, causing the /var partition to fill, and Prime Infrastructure to fail. /var/spool/clientmqueue contains information related to authentication and authorization privileges. For example, sshd logs all the messages here, including unsuccessful login attempts. This condition may be aggravated by excessive virus scanning of the Prime Infrastructure server with third party virus scanners.

Conditions:
This was observed in Prime Infrastructure 3.7.
