Last Modified

Sep 14, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco 8000 Series Routers

Known Affected Releases

7.0.14.BASE

Description (partial)

Release-note

Symptom:
ssh process crash logs seen on console, syslogs of dumper, corefiles saved on harddisk.

Conditions:
ssh process is killed during session initialization. This is a very remote scenario. It seems like during ssh_xr initiatization sequence the process is killed making ssh_xr crash as certain variables are not init. This has no impact across as ssh and new ssh client can be initiated next time.
