Symptom: A prefix is seen in BGP table and is being advertised to a peer, but it's missing in RIB. C3#show bgp vpnv4 un vrf C2 192.0.2.0/24 BGP routing table entry for 2:2:192.0.2.0/24, version 19 Paths: (1 available, best #1, table C2) Advertised to update-groups: <<<< 2 Refresh Epoch 1 Local, imported path from 1:1:192.0.2.0/24 (C1) 10.0.3.3 (via vrf C0) (via C0) from 0.0.0.0 (126.96.36.199) ... but it's not in RIB C3# sh ip route vrf C2 192.0.2.0 Routing Table: C2 % Network not in table Conditions: 1. Running inter-vrf leaking with import map. 2. Leaking a prefix, from SRC vrf (BGP prefix is locally originated, like static) 3. Leaking the prefix with set ip vrf <3rdVRF> next-hop ... As the result BGP entry will present for DST vrf (and advertised to peers), but missing in DST vrf RIB.
