Description (partial)

Symptom:
Click in hamburger menu,and click on the pencil/edit to add a new module - a white bar appears on the left and you can't do anything to exit

Conditions:
Clicking any of the Add / Edit / Delete control in analyzer preview screen blocks the screen by painting a while border. After that the screen is not responsive.
The only workaround is to refresh the page.
Looking at the general layout of the preview page, it looks like these controls should be removed. Only the drop down arrow should remain in the preview page.
