Description (partial)

Symptom:
A DS-X97-SF4-K9 model supervisor fails and restarts with the following type of syslog messages:

%SYSMGR-2-HASWITCHOVER_START: Supervisor 4 is becoming active.
%CALLHOME-2-EVENT: SUP_FAILURE
%CALLHOME-2-EVENT: SW_CRASH
%MODULE-5-STANDBY_SUP_OK: Supervisor 3 is standby
</pre>
Note: the callhome messages will appear if callhome is configured and enabled.

The detailed failure reason shown by the show system reset-reason command for the affected supervisor (which would be the standby) is 'Kernel Panic':
