Last Modified

  • CiscoPro Workgroup EtherSwitch Software
  • Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Below command is configured on the device and route-map is setting some properties in default-route.
"default-information originate route-map <route-map-name>"

Route map for example:
route-map abc, permit, sequence 10
  Match clauses:
  Set clauses:
    metric 200

Now on SUP switchover (SSO), LSA corresponding to the default-route gets generated with default parameters first and then it changes to parameters provided by route-map.

Right behavior is LSA should not change during SSO.

Conditions:
This problem is related with "default-information originate" command when route-map is configured. Problem happens for a brief period on SSO.
