Description (partial)

When Unicast PTP master is port is configured with 2 or more peer slaves, the offset is higher (compared to multicast master with same number of slaves).

Symptom:
When a unicast PTP master is port is configured with 2 or more peer clients, the offset is higher than a multicast master with same number of clients.

Conditions:
Steps for recreation: 
1) Configure PTP unicast master on the 3rd hop leaf switch.
2) When PTP offset is measured using IXIA, it is higher than 750nsec.

This issue is specific to PTP unicast masters only. It is not seen with multicast.
