- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Ifmgr crash seen at im_rd2db_update_constructive after LC Reload. Conditions: when interface is part of bundle and no controller optics is done, it will lead two events - bundle member removal and interface delete. Due to timing issue, this sequence gets changed and leaves some stale entries in HW. As this condition is not handled, ifmgr aborts. Below is the trace for the improper sequence. +++show ether-ea trace all location 0/LC0 +++ Aug 19 23:17:43.570 ether_ea/event 0/LC0 t8175 TP177,policy_delete: intf_type=1 batch_size=1 first-ifh=0x820266c last-ifh=0x820266c Aug 19 23:17:43.575 ether_ea/event 0/LC0 t8175 TP188,member remove: intf_type=4 batch_size=1 first-ifh=0x8201874 last-ifh=0x8201874 Aug 19 23:17:43.576 ether_ea/error 0/LC0 t8175 TP22,get_db_lif,failed to get LIF,ifh,0x820266c,rc,0x2f9c0002 Aug 19 23:17:43.577 ether_ea/error 0/LC0 t8175 TP133,dnx_ether_ea_bcmdpa_port_update: Failed l3_intf update obj get. ifh: 0x820266c
