Description (partial)

Symptom:
During reimage (“rebake”) of the system, the system halts and drops to the following prompt:

Jul 22 08:51:13.535: Failure during boot of full ISO, unable to recover
======================================================================
Jul 22 08:51:14.169: FATAL ERROR: Script exited unexpectedly (:5) [check logs for more details]
Jul 22 08:51:14.171: SYSTEM HALTED
======================================================================

Conditions:
The reimage action leading to this condition is always a *downgrade* to a lower version.

The reimage must be *to* one of the following versions:
 ncs540l:
 - 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3
 - 7.1.1
 - 7.2.1
 8000:
 - 7.0.11, 7.0.12

And *from* version 7.3.1 or higher.
