Cisco Bug: CSCvv19731 - CCS-WM adding bundle value instead of updating

Last Modified

Oct 01, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco CloudCenter Suite

Known Affected Releases

5.1(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
CCS Workload manager bundle inconsistencies.
When creating a plan with a bundle limit and assign in CCS the plan and bundle liimt to a tenant, if the bundle is assigned again or updated under CCS tenant options will add the previous value to the bundle value instead of updating.

Instead of updating the bundle it will be added to the previous amount if the bundle was configured with a value of $200, then.
1 tenant bundle update: $200
2 tenant bundle update: 200 + 200 = $400
3 tenant bundle update: 400 + 200 = $600

This will be displayed on CC-WM impersonating as tenant owner > Dashboard > My plan usage.

Conditions:
CCSv <= 5.1.1
CCS-WM <= v5.2.2

In WM
CC-WM > Admin > Bundles > Create a Bundle (i.e limit $200)
CC-WM > Admin > UsagePlans > CreateUsagePlan and specify the bundle
CCS-SuiteAdmin > Tenants > ManagePlan > Select the bundle and plan created in the previous steps.
CC-WM impersonating as tenant owner > Dashboard > My plan usage.

As admin again
CCS-SuiteAdmin > Tenants > ManagePlan > Select another bundle or the same bundle.
