Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Restoring an FMC backup fails with the error message in the UI:

Restore File: <backup file name>
Unable to restore files

Conditions:
All conditions are not known at this time in terms of how this happens, but the cause is when the backup file contains files/directories that have timestamps that are very far in the future. This can happen if the clock on the FMC (for local backup storage) or the remote storage device (for remote backup storage) is very far in the future at the time of the backup.
