Known Affected Releases

12.5.1-037

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When service updates are configured to happen via a proxy that requires ESA to authenticate itself, then for all the services for which ESA needs to go through that proxy, ESA sends a username and password in the first request itself, except for the requests to reach a shortened URL server in an attempt to expand that shortened URL.
In such a scenario, the attempt to expand the shortened URL fails.

Conditions:
1) URL filtering is enabled under ESA GUI > Security Services > URL filtering
2) Service updates have been configured to go through proxy that requires ESA to authenticate itself.
3) Under the CLI command 'websecurityadvancedconfig', following option has been enabled:
Do you want to enable URL filtering for shortened URLs? [Y]
