Aug 04, 2020
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: SATA FPD of RPs in modular routers(5508) fail FPD upgrade when downgrading from 7.1.2 to 653 FCS. Having auto upgrade of SATA enabled appears to be causing heartbeat failures during install operations when both SATA fpd and SW was getting upgraded. Due to above case, FPD will show up as UPGD FAIL 0/RP0 NC55-RP 1.1 SATA UPGD FAIL 6.00 6.00 0/RP1 NC55-RP 1.1 SATA UPGD FAIL 6.00 6.00 Conditions: This is seen for RP Micron SSDs on Modular router 5508 with auto FPD upgrade enabled in running configuration. Currently issue seen in internal builds.
