Cisco Bug: CSCvv02129 - Locally Sourced protocol packets for eBGP Labeled Uni-cast session does not mark VLAN CoS correctly

Last Modified

Sep 16, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Carrier Routing System

Known Affected Releases

6.4.3

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When we have a labeled uni-cast address family BGP session on a sub interface, with a QoS policy configured on the main interface (Bundle Interface), we notice that the sub interface, the VLAN CoS field does not get updated correctly based on the main interface's QoS policy map. It is set to zero and not the CoS value as set in the QoS policy map.

Conditions:
1) eBGP labeled uni-cast peering on a sub-interface,
2) Main interface configured with QoS policy that sets CoS based on QoS class maps
3) Configure a static route of the sub interface with the ip address and the interface.
