Cisco Bug: CSCvu99904 - Martian prefixes/routes do not install with "default-martian-check disable"
Aug 14, 2020
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: BGP has read the distribution, so with the knob (?default martian check disable?) it hasn’t re-distributed the route . Route suppressing log message are also not seen for martian addresses. ----- > ?from debug log I couldn’t find any info on Martian checks and addresses?. I see the same behaviour with or without knob, where prefixes are getting dropped though bgp read the distribution. Can someone from ?bgp-team? have a look and help us on further triage? Showtech: /ws/shomishr-bgl/martian/ showtech-ASR9K-bgp-2020-Jul-10.140653.UTC.tgz Attached mail thread for details and findings. Conditions: prefixes are getting dropped though bgp read the distribution.
