Description (partial)

When the member interface is operationally down, its REST field "bundleIndex" might not be updated with the parent interface name as it gets upgraded to a newer release, even though it is still part of a port-channel. Since NAE relies on this REST query field to get the parent interface name, during this state, it considers this member interface as a standalone interface and raises VPC_ORPHAN_PORT_BEST_PRACTICE_CONFIG.

Symptom:
NAE might generate VPC_ORPHAN_PORT_BEST_PRACTICE_CONFIG in case of an operationally down member interface.

Conditions:
In certain conditions when the member interface is operationally down, its REST field "bundleIndex" might not be updated with the parent interface name as it gets upgraded to a newer release, even though it is still part of a port-channel.
