Symptom: The customer is receiving spoofed emails despite have a Forged Email Detection content filter configured. It is found that the content filter isn't triggering and this error will display in the mail_logs Wed Jul 8 11:09:28 2020 Warning: Invalid SimpleFilter: FED_EXECUTIVE_SPOOF rule: <filters.Forged_Email_Detection instance at 0x97c949e0>('egg/filters.py cs_nowm|5837', "<type 'exceptions.TypeError'>", 'normalize() argument 2 must be unicode, not str', '[egg/filters.py process|15432] [egg/filters.py eval|5856] [egg/filters.py cs_nowm|5837]') Conditions: The customer has a FED content filter configured and the dictionary it uses has one or more Smart Identifiers enabled in the dictionary.
