Description (partial)

Symptom:
After importing a VNIC config file on a standalone C-series VIC adapter,
when the host is rebooted, a customer may experience that VNICs may not get a link-up resulting in loss of network
and storage connectivity. Server configured for network boot (PXE/iSCSI) or SAN boot, may not be able to boot
to the host OS.

Conditions:
This issue happens only on a standalone C-series VIC adapters when all of the following conditions are true:
1. import a VNIC configuration file that was exported when VIC was configured with "VNTAG mode" enabled
2. VIC network ports are connected to Cisco Nexus switches supporting network interface virtualization
3. switch ports/portchannel are configured with "switchport mode vntag".
