Last Modified

Aug 26, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Web Security Appliance

Known Affected Releases

12.5.0-675

Description (partial)

Symptom:
--> The return packets are not coming back to WSA, and eventually the client sees the request to be dropped
--> In Forward mode as well, the packets are routed to the WSA

Conditions:
-> In Transparent / Explicit Proxy mode, when IP Spoofing is enabled (Use Client IP / any other IP Spoofing Profile) is configured in Routing Policies, the return packets are being dropped, as it looks for the response from the "Who has <Client IP / IP Spoofing Profile IP>"

--> If the response is not provided by the WSA - the transaction would not complete
