Description (partial)

Symptom:
This is an MDS 9000 documentation request to update the "Configuring Call Home" chapter of the 6.2 and 8.x MDS 9000 Series System Management Configuration Guides need to be updated. All configurations using the keyword/argument "e-mail" need to be changed to "email".

All documented callhome commands with the keyword "e-mail" are incorrect. The correct keyword is "email".

Here are corrected commands:

switch(config-callhome)# email-contact username@company.com
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile full-txt-destination {email-addr email-address | message-size msg-size-in-bytes}
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile short-txt-destination {email-addr email-address | message-size msg-size-in-bytes}
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile XML-destination {email-addr email-address | message-size msg-size-in-bytes}
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile test email-addr email-address
switch# show callhome transport-email

6.2
switch(config-callhome)# email-contact username@company.com
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile full-txt-destination email-addr person@place.com
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile short-txt-destination email-addr person@place.com
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile XML-destination email-addr findout@.cisco.com
switch(config-callhome)# destination-profile test email-addr person@place.com
switch(config-callhome)# transport email from user@company1.com
switch(config-callhome)# transport email reply-to person@place.com
