Cisco Bug: CSCvu83064 - Templates with '-' in name may fail to correctly import subnet flags

Last Modified

Oct 02, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)

Known Affected Releases

2.2(3j)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
During the upgrade of MSO where new properties are introduced such as Subet flags, if the Template name includes the dash '-' character, the DB may incorrectly split the ID & field name causing the property to import to fail. One such property is the "External Subnet for the External EPG" (also known as import-security) property of an L3Out EPG Subnet. After an upgrade this subnet flag could be inadvertently cleared, and cause traffic disruption if the Template is deployed to ACI sites.

Conditions:
Upgrading Multisite Orchestrator 2.2(2) or earlier with Templates containing the "-" character in the name.
