Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

Known Affected Releases

4.9(86)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When Dynamic Split EXCLUDE Tunneling is enabled *AND* when a Multi-homed machine has both WiFi and WIRED attached/connected to the same network, a necessary dynamic route change results in a failure to update the routing table.

The behavior is perceived by the User as a reconnect, and/or potentially multiple re-connect(s).

Conditions:
- macOS

- Dynamic Split EXCLUDE Tunneling enabled (Custom Attribute configuration via the ASA)

- Multi-home machine where BOTH WiFi and WIRED are on the same network.
For example:
en0:
inet 192.168.1.13 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
en7:
inet 192.168.1.5 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
