Cisco Bug: CSCvu80683 - Custom Strings not detected in DOCX File will not cause a DLP Violation.
Sep 02, 2020
- Cisco Email Security Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The customer uses custom XML properties in their DOCX files, the custom.xml file may use <op:properties> tag instead of the <properties> tag. If the custom.xml file is using the <op:properties> tag then the custom strings will not be detected as a DLP violation. The op:properties tag is detected as valid and will trigger a violation when its parent XML file is standalone and is not part of a DOCX file. Conditions: Create custom DLP classifiers in order to trigger on specific strings within a file and the DOCX files created by the organization DOCX contain custom XML properties that will be assigned this specific string.
